Golden Limousine is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented IT Support Technician to join our team in Milan, MI. This full-time, entry-level position is ideal for a college student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in IT support. You'll help ensure smooth day-to-day technology operations and provide frontline technical assistance to staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for desktop systems, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Troubleshoot issues related to Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Remote Desktop, VPN, and Teams.
- Support and maintain the LiveryCoach Software platform (built on SQL Server).
- Assist in managing user accounts, access rights, and device configurations.
- Monitor system performance and escalate issues as needed.
- Coordinate with external vendors for advanced troubleshooting.
- Maintain IT inventory and documentation of support activities.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows OS, Office 365, and basic networking.
- Willingness to learn SQL Server and LiveryCoach Software.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware/software issues.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; currently enrolled in or recently completed a college IT program.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with remote desktop environments and VPN access.
- Exposure to SQL-based applications or transportation/dispatch systems.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
