We are seeking a qualified IT Support Technician to join our IT team to provide technical assistance to computer users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, install new equipment, and collaborate with other team members to resolve issues and deploy IT solutions with efficiency. Standout candidates will be excellent problem-solvers with outstanding communication and customer service skills. This is an on-site position working out of our Corporate Office in Davenport, IA.

IT Support Technician Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Provide technical assistance and training to users, answering questions, and guiding them through IT-related tasks, working with users both remotely and in person.
  • Install and configure new hardware and software, ensuring proper setup with company standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of issues, resolutions, and system configurations.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members on larger projects and resolution of severe issues.
  • Possible overtime and schedule changes based on business needs.
  • On-call rotation of after-hours support is required and occasional overnight travel.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
IT Support Technician Skills and Qualifications:
  • 2 Year technical degree or 2 years' experience installing and supporting hardware and software in a business environment.
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and networks.
  • Proactive approach to problem identification, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
  • A+, Network +, or knowledge of industry standard IT best practices are preferred.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences and build positive relationships with users.
  • Knowledge of network cabling and testing standards.
  • Understanding of basic IT security principles and practices.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing IT environments.
