As part of the Technology Team at OBF, the IT Support Technician will work closely with the team and the people we support to provide an excellent experience as we develop, implement, and maintain technology solutions for the business.
Duties and Responsibilities Include: - Work closely with staff and vendors to support applications, computers, mobile devices, printers and other technology to internal and external customers
- Apply troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to ensure successful implementation and sustainability of hardware and software
- Hands-on experience with macOS in a business or enterprise environment
- Maintain physical hardware assets and system functionality
- Provision and prepare devices for new team members and hardware replacements and upgrades
- Work with the entire technology team to improve and deploy technology solutions for the company
- Provide testing and validation of client facing and internal workflow systems and technologies improvement, enhancements, and training requirements
- Perform a key role in managing and supporting client data
- User administration for international user base (US, Canada, Mexico, UK, Europe, and China
- Perform required maintenance activities during non-production hours as required (evenings, weekends)
- Maintain existing and create new documentation as required when software and system changes occur
- Monitor Help Desk support and respond as needed
- Train new users and employees on system usage
- Assist in system administration of critical operation production systems
Qualifications Include: - Experience with production systems/environments and applications including but not limited to Office 365, MacOS, Windows OS, Windows Server OS, Adobe, Esko, Kodak, etc.
- 1-3 years' experience working with and troubleshooting different operating systems (ideally macOS)
- Experience with macOS in a business or enterprise environment is required
