GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly skilled Part-Time IT Support Specialist/Operations Assistant to join our team. This role is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to staff, diagnosing hardware/software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. The Operations Assistant is responsible for supporting daily business functions to ensure smooth operational performance.

This role would be on-site 2 days a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide onsite and remote technical support to clinic staff, including hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft 365 application issues (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
  • Administer Microsoft 365 accounts, user permissions, and security settings via the admin portal.
  • Support and manage Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, and local area network issues.
  • Set up, refurbish, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other devices.
  • Install, configure, and update hardware components and software applications.
  • Maintain and organize IT hardware inventory; recommend upgrades and replacements when necessary.
  • Provide end-user support and training for Microsoft Teams, video conferencing, and collaboration tools.
  • Assist with secure user onboarding/offboarding
  • Maintain and document technical support requests
  • Collaborate with external vendors or IT service providers for complex troubleshooting or repairs.
  • Ensure all IT procedures align with healthcare regulations and data privacy/security standards.
  • Handle preventive maintenance tasks and respond promptly to maintenance requests.
  • Oversee daily building operations to ensure a safe, clean, and functional environment.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for specialized repairs or services.
  • Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment; reorder as needed.
  • Assist with space setup, furniture moves, and minor office changes.
  • Support emergency preparedness and respond to facility-related incidents or issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in IT support, preferably in a healthcare or clinical setting
  • With experience in epic healthcare software preferable.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Teams, Exchange, and OneDrive.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and user account management.
  • Solid understanding of Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, and basic network troubleshooting.
  • Experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, or a related field.
  • Employment references required.
COMPENSATION:

Compensation commensurate with experience $30-$38 per hour.
