The SPA Information Technology (IT) Department consists of over 30 IT professionals across the full spectrum of IT disciplines: end user support, systems administration, network operations, cybersecurity, classified systems administration, and policy & compliance. The End User Services Team provides critical day-to-day operational maintenance, software installation, and end-user services. Responsibilities The IT Support Specialist, as part of the End User Services' Sustainment Team, will configure and provision systems for new employees and existing staff member that are in need of a computer replacement; utilize imaging tools and software to install and configure operating systems, software applications, and drivers; conduct quality reviews to ensure systems are configured and functioning properly; work closely with vendors to repair or replace systems with notable defects; maintain an organized and efficient staging environment for system deployments; and assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related the configuration process. The IT Support Specialist will also work with other members of the team to monitor help desk activity by responding to emails, answering phone calls, and managing assigned tickets. Qualifications Required Qualifications: High school diploma. Experience working in Microsoft Office programs and Windows 10/11 desktop operating systems. Experience working with OS imaging and deployment utilities such as BMC Client Management, SCCM, or ManageEngine. Ability to lift 25 pounds. U.S. citizenship is required; must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance. Desired Qualifications: College credit or Information Technology (IT) technical coursework. One or more of the following professional certifications: A+ CE, Network+ CE, Security+ CE, Microsoft Associate. Proven customer service experience.
