IT Support Specialist Rocket IT Client Services Team - Suwanee, GA - Full Time

We're looking for an experienced, detail-oriented IT Support Specialist who thrives in a fun, fast-paced environment and is enthusiastic about finding solutions to technical issues and helping others succeed.
As an IT Support Specialist, you'll resolve a wide variety of support requests from Rocket IT clients and employees. You'll work closely with the rest of the Help Desk team and utilize state-of-the-art remote management tools to provide escalated support to help our clients thrive. The ideal IT Support Specialist candidate is an experienced, organized, and efficient problem solver.
Key Responsibilities - Help people and organizations maximize IT uptime and performance
- Provide advanced Windows desktop support
- Support and manage cloud, virtual and on-premises servers
- Administer and troubleshoot Office 365
- Resolve networking incidents and recommend network infrastructure improvements
- Assess a variety of escalated client issues and resolve in a timely manner
- Assist and mentor Tier I support staff
- Provision and troubleshoot VPN and other remote access solutions
- Document activities, steps to resolution and process improvements
Qualifications - 4-year college degree (IT relevance preferred)
- 3-5 years IT support experience
- 1-3 years Windows Server experience
- Proven competency in IP network switches, routers, firewalls
- Other helpful experience: ConnectWise, Cisco, Meraki, and/or SonicWALL products
Certifications IT Support Specialists must possess three or more of the following industry certifications:
- CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+, CCNA, or Security+
- Microsoft MD-102, MS-102, or AZ-104
- AWS Cloud Practitioner
- ITIL 4 Foundation
Certifications should have been completed within the last 5 years, with at least one completed within the last 2 years. Proof of certification required. Physical Requirements - Must be able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and reach

Rocket IT supports an office-centric hybrid modelthat promotes teamwork and fosters strong relationships between team members.
