TITLE: IT Support Specialist
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Minimum three years' computer repair/network troubleshooting experience preferably in an educational setting.
2. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited or approved institution.
3. A+ or additional certifications necessary.
4. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
5. Current residency in New Jersey, approved residency waiver or candidate agrees to obtain residency within one year of employment.
REPORTS TO: Network Administrator
JOB GOAL:
1. Highly motivated and self-directed individuals to provide IT support services at a building level.
2. Will configure, troubleshoot and perform services needed to support instructional programs and business operations.
3. Responsible for end user devices and configuration. Provides technology training to employees and new technology staff.
4. Resolves helpdesk requests and maintains knowledge needed to provide efficient and effective technology service.
