IT Support Specialist

Kaye/Bassman International Corporation (KBIC) is searching for an IT Support Specialist to play a crucial role in the growth and enhancement of our Information Technology department. Daily Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for end-users and office technologies according to established policies and procedures.
  • Manage and maintain hardware for remote office environments effectively.
  • Deploy and retrieve home office hardware for remote users in a timely manner.
  • Offer deskside and MFP printer support to enhance user productivity.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of IT support tickets while meeting established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain the hardware inventory and manage hardware ordering requests efficiently.
  • Contribute actively to the development and implementation of IT processes and procedures.
  • Facilitate IT support for new remote office setups seamlessly.
  • Assist users with the installation and setup of computer hardware and peripherals.

As an IT Support Specialist, you will collaborate closely with our team to ensure optimal use of technology that supports our business operations. You will also be responsible for managing our internal network and providing support to both onsite and remote staff.

What We Are Looking For:
  • 3+ years of proven experience in a corporate IT support role.
  • Proficiency in Windows 11 and Office 365 administration, along with Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience with Zoom and Teams for effective communication.
  • Strong skills in troubleshooting PC hardware and common software issues.
  • Experience with Mac OS troubleshooting is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Apple and Android phone support is an advantage.
  • Ability to provide remote and phone-based support efficiently.
  • A strong team player who thrives under deadlines and can work independently.
  • Experience using remote management tools for effective troubleshooting and support.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Willingness to work onsite full-time in Plano, TX (this is not a remote role).
Additional Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with a help desk ticketing system.
  • Knowledge of SonicWall and basic networking concepts.
  • Able to manage multiple projects concurrently.
