Under the direction of the IT Manager, the IT Support Specialist will provide full and timely support to all company employees with all technology systems. In addition, this role will maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware and internal networks. This individual will need to diagnose and resolve problems quickly, as well as have the patience to communicate with a variety of employees at varying technical skill levels to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly.
Responsibilities: - Provide timely systems support of end user hardware and software, including account and workstation setup for new users
- Administer and maintain systems and network software and hardware according to requirements
- Test, troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve technical issues and outages with all company systems
- Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
- Dependable transportation for inter-warehouse travel in the Metro Atlanta area.
- Properly maintain accurate and full inventory of all technical equipment, including an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies
QualificationsRequirements/Qualifications/Skills: - 2 - 3 years of experience in related IT field
- Expertise in Windows, Windows Server, Networking, Meraki MDM and Ubquiti systems
- MS Office Application Support, Exchange Online Administration, and GSuite Administration
- Experience with Network Physical Infrastructure, Powershell, and Office 365 Systems Administration preferred
- Ability to work cohesively across multiple departments within the organization
- Excellent communication skills, including ability to answer technology questions from staff, managers and executives as needed
- Bachelor's Degree or Qualifying experience
