Job Overview:

As an IT Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for supporting end user technology to maintain 100% availability of all IT related systems and software to help deliver improved profitability and exceptional customer service to our clients.

This hybrid role is available at our Suburban Corporate office located in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. This role requires occasional travel to our downtown Chicago corporate office.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional technical support to end users, resolving issues with efficiency and empathy.
  • Effectively communicate with team members, associates, and leadership regarding task-relevant information.
  • Document all work in the ServiceDesk system promptly, accurately, and with sufficient detail, ensuring follow-up until resolution, and complete all tickets assigned.
  • Manage Active Directory and Microsoft Entra user accounts, assign and remove permissions, reset passwords, create and disable accounts, and manage MFA.
  • Administer Microsoft 365, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Entra.
  • Manage the maintenance of hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals) and software.
  • Utilize basic knowledge of Cisco Meraki and network appliances.
  • Support Citrix desktops, apps, and VPNs.
  • Utilize remote support tools (e.g., GoToResolve, Manage Engine) for issue resolution.
  • Manage mobile devices through tools such as Intune and Desktop Central.
  • Provide support for Citrix, O365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams Phone/Teams Room Conferencing.
  • Participate in regional and national IT initiatives and projects.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years' experience working in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Associate's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field preferred.
  • Foundational knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10, Windows 11, and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Works effectively with coworkers, clients, customers, and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner; addresses problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions.
  • Must possess a high energy attitude and an ability to multi-task/prioritize different projects at any given time.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills.

$ 20 / hour
