Job Title: IT Support Specialist
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Job Description: We are looking for a knowledgeable and reliable IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to our employees or customers. In this role, you will troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues, maintain systems, and ensure the smooth operation of hardware and software. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and assistance to employees or customers via phone, email, or chat
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals
  • Monitor and maintain system performance and security
  • Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords
  • Ensure data backup and recovery processes are properly maintained
  • Assist in training staff on the use of hardware and software applications
  • Keep records of IT issues, resolutions, and system updates
  • Assist in maintaining company servers, networks, and databases
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in IT support or a similar technical role
  • Strong understanding of computer systems, hardware, software, and networks
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS, Linux)
  • Knowledge of common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
  • Experience with network setups, hardware installations, and cybersecurity principles
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL) are a plus
