A respected research and development organization located in Des Plaines, IL. This organization is seeking a technically skilled IT Helpdesk Support professional to join their infrastructure team. The position involves working across hybrid Microsoft environments, including Azure, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Teams, as well as managing endpoint devices, storage solutions, and backup systems.

Required Skills & Experience
- 1-2+ years of professional IT Management experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure AD and InTune
- Basic Network troubleshooting, firewalls and protocol skills
- Ability to configure desktops and office devices
- Strong knowledge of troubleshooting software and hardware issues
- Hands-on experience with IT asset inventory and support ticket systems
Desired Skills & Experience
- IT certifications (CISA, CISSP, CCSP, CRISC, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related fields
- Windows System adminstration
- Scripting ability (PowerShell preferred)
- Previous experience in a high-growth or digital-first company
What You Will Be Doing
Tech Breakdown
- 50% End User Support (M365, Software, Laptops/Desktops)
- 30% Systems Maintenance (M365, InTune, Azure AD)
- 30% Network (DHCP, Firewalls, LAN/WAN)
Daily Responsibilities
- Resolve tickets and fill out documentation in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot and configure all office and desktop devices
- Network troubleshooting, firewalls and patch management
- Monitor health of mission critical IT devices and ensure security
- Utilize SharePoint for mobile device management
