IT Support Specialist â€" Network & Systems Location: Canton, GA 30115 Pay: $40-48/hr $85k-$100k annually (DOE) This is a full-time, long-term position, and we seek a candidate committed to growing with the company. About Us: We are a leading provider of composites engineering and tooling solutions for the aerospace industry. Our work requires a commitment to excellence, security, and efficiency, and we are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to support our IT infrastructure. Position Overview: As a IT Support Specialist / Helpdesk Technician, you will serve as the primary point of contact for IT support while working closely with our Managed Service Provider (MSP). This role involves hands-on technical troubleshooting, network administration, cybersecurity support, and collaboration with outsourced IT teams. Key Responsibilities: Technical Support: Provide Tier-2 in-person and remote support for software, hardware, and networking issues. Infrastructure Maintenance: Coordinate with the MSP to oversee firewalls, networking equipment, servers, malware protection, and VOIP systems. User & Account Administration: Manage Active Directory, email accounts, password resets, and system access. Hardware/Software Management: Install, configure, secure, and maintain IT hardware, software, and peripherals. Office 365 Administration: Serve as a subject matter expert for Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and other Microsoft 365 applications. Network Security & Compliance: Support IT security measures, including firewall configurations, Windows Defender, and VPN administration. Vendor Coordination: Work with MSP and third-party providers for server backups, software maintenance, and network security. Qualifications: 3-5 Years of IT Experience in endpoint management, network/system administration, or IT engineering. Microsoft Office 365 Proficiency, particularly in Exchange Online and SharePoint. Networking & Security: Hands-on experience with WatchGuard firewalls, switching, and routing fundamentals. Windows Environments: Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and Identity & Access Management. Preferred Industry Experience: Exposure to manufacturing or aerospace environments, with familiarity in DFARS/CMMC compliance. Certifications (Preferred but not required): MCSE, MCSA, Security+, VMware Certified Professional. Bonus Tools Experience: Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, DUO, Windows Defender, WatchGuard VPN, and VMware ESXi. Education: Bachelor†s degree in Computer Science, Networking, IT, or equivalent work experience preferred.
