Responsibilities:- Provide local support of the Aurora, Illinois, Regional HQ/Production/Warehouse site as well as remote support for 6 offices and 1 Production/Warehouse site in the Americas Region. Total IT users supported are approximately 400 plus Production and Warehouse employees when needed.
- Commit to the digital transformation at Freudenberg Home and Cleaning Solutions (FHCS) by proactively engaging with our users to understand their needs and requests for improvements.
- Manage local site IT infrastructure and applications as complementary to your IT service role and handle a variety of IT issues in collaboration with our 2nd level support teams.
- Configure, deploy, administer, and troubleshoot PCs, mobile devices, label printers, hand scanners, IP cameras, and other IT equipment.
- Purchase IT consumables and supplies to ensure the proper IT equipment for our users.
- Coordinate and manage external service providers for IT service delivery where needed.
- Participate in local/regional/corporate IT project implementations as part of a larger team and contribute to ongoing IT Infrastructure and user support documentation, and maintain inventory system
Qualifications:- Associates or BS degree in IT or IT-related field, Business Administration, Business Informatics or a completed vocational training in the field of IT preferred.
- Previous work experience in IT preferred.
- Demonstrated working knowledge in topics such as PC hardware, Printers, Microsoft software and network administration. Certifications a plus.
- Excellent customer service and troubleshooting skills to identify problems quickly and fix them according to user requirements.
- Ability and desire to train and advise our users on how to best work with our digital workplace tools and apps.
- As part of a harmonized enterprise IT landscape, you understand the impact of standardization and see the big picture when evaluating local versus global solutions.
- Working with remote and cross-cultural teams through virtual interaction, Spanish speaker is a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 5%.
