Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, technically skilled, and customer-focused IT Support Specialist / Help Desk Technician to join our growing IT team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for end-users experiencing technical issues. Your ability to troubleshoot, resolve problems quickly, and deliver excellent customer service will ensure our business runs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide first-line support to users via phone, email, or ticketing systems

Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues

Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices

Set up new user accounts, permissions, and access across systems

Monitor and respond to help desk tickets in a timely and professional manner

Document issues and solutions in internal knowledge base

Escalate complex issues to senior technicians or system administrators when needed

Maintain IT inventory and support asset management processes

Support onboarding/offboarding processes for employees

Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

1 3 years of experience in an IT support/help desk role

Familiarity with Windows and/or Mac OS, Office 365, Active Directory, and common business applications

Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks

Experience with help desk tools (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk, ServiceNow) is a plus

IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified are a plus
