Job Overview:

This role provides hands-on, deskside IT support in a stable, well-documented environment. You will follow standard procedures to manage hardware and software tasks, support end users, handle asset tracking, and help maintain a smooth operational workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deskside Support: Imaging computers, replacing printer toner and components, disposing of outdated assets
  • ServiceNow Ticket Resolution: Follow KB articles and standard procedures to resolve user issues
  • Asset Management: Update Asset Center, manage inventory, coordinate shipping/receiving of IT assets
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain logs, contact lists, and other records
  • Routine Maintenance: Schedule equipment upkeep, order supplies, monitor stock
  • Problem Recognition & Reporting: Resolve issues using documented solutions; escalate complex problems
  • Basic Technical Support: Replace printer parts, troubleshoot hardware using manuals/KB articles
  • Interdepartmental Interaction: Interface with suppliers, internal teams, and factory operations

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's in IT preferred
  • Experience: 1+ year of IT support experience preferred; recent grads welcome
  • Skills:
  • Familiarity with Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Basic understanding of networks, computing, and IT security principles
  • Ability to follow technical documentation and standard processes

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with ServiceNow
  • Familiarity with enterprise asset tracking systems
  • Previous factory or hands-on IT support environment experience
