About the Position: The IT Support Services Technician will provide technical support to Computer/Network and software users.

  • Provides IT Support relating to technical issues involving core business applications and operating systems.
  • Provides technical support at the network level, such as WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, switches, wireless and security.
  • Establishes and terminates user access in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Provides user support for access and connectivity issues.
  • Monitors the remote monitoring and management system alerts and notifications and responds accordingly through service tickets.
  • Performs installations, modifications, and repairs on PC's and peripheral devices as necessary.
  • Provides support for office copiers, scanners, printers, and user peripheral equipment.
  • Runs diagnostics on computer hardware.
  • Provides remote access solution implementation and support.
  • Documents and tracks occurrences using a problem tracking database or manual system.
  • Works under minimal supervision on complex projects and may assist less experienced peers.
  • Displays independent judgment.
  • Adherence to the Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program
  • Other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • 2+ years' experience
  • Certificates and Licenses:
    CompTIA A+

    CompTIA Network+

    MTA 98-349 Windows Operating System Fundamentals

    ITIL Foundations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Experience in working with reports, spreadsheets and Excel.
  • Problem solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer relation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Possess strong organizational skills.
  • Understand HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability) guidelines.
  • Strong Language Ability: Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
  • Strong Mathematical Ability: Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Strong Reasoning Ability: Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
