Amazon is seeking bright, adaptable, and hardworking applicants to work at our Corporate Offices in the National Capital Region, India. IT Support Managers collaborate with Amazon teams to provide and support the IT equipment and services they need. A successful IT Support Manager II excels in a fast-paced, team environment and possesses excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, and technical expertise across a broad range of IT software, hardware, and networking disciplines.

About The Role

As an IT Support Manager II, you will leverage your leadership, technical knowledge, and specialized skills to support, build, implement, and improve technology solutions. You will manage large projects across multiple locations with minimal guidance and lead a technical IT team that handles customer issues promptly to restore service. You will actively expand your scope based on customer needs, with familiarity in AWS technologies and distributed systems concepts.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  1. Managing a team of IT Support Engineers (ITSEs).
  2. Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  3. Supporting virtual or physical events and town halls in India.
  4. Managing Audio Visual devices and services in India.
  5. Ensuring service uptime through Service Level governance.
  6. Leading troubleshooting efforts for complex IT problems.
  7. Collaborating with internal teams or vendors on project execution.
  8. Leading continuous improvement initiatives.
  9. Auditing work quality and providing constructive feedback.
  10. Automating manual tasks and developing small tools to enhance team efficiency.
  11. Serving as the first point of escalation.
  12. Gaining exposure to IT Asset Management.
  13. Providing senior-level customer support.
  14. Participating in hiring, training, and team development.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field such as computer science, engineering, or statistics.
  • 5+ years of experience leading technology teams as an IT operations manager.
  • Knowledge of cabling best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (if not already listed).
  • Experience with system management tools and client/server environments.
