We are searching for a skilled
IT Support Manager to provide onsite support for a general contractor. This position is
contract-to-hire.
Responsibilities: - Provide onsite IT support to ensure the smooth operation of all IT systems and infrastructure.
- Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 environments, including user accounts, email, and collaboration tools.
- Administer and support Active Directory, including user and group management, and security policies.
- Oversee Azure services, including virtual machines, storage, and networking.
- Support and manage Microsoft Project and Teams phones for effective project management and communication.
- Ensure the proper functioning of Microsoft Office applications and Windows Server environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues promptly.
- Implement and maintain IT security measures to protect company data and systems.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand and address their IT needs.
- Provide training and support to end-users on IT systems and applications.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure, Project, Teams phones, Office, and Windows Server.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator) are a plus.
