The ITSC is currently seeking agents to fill a Hybrid technical support role where agents will primarily work remotely from home but provide a minimum of 1-2 days a week onsite support to a dedicated client.
The ITSC is an industry-leading provider of Expert technical support for Fortune 1000 organizations.
LOCATION: The ITSC's organizational structure provides agents the opportunity to work from home 3-4 days a week, with 1-2 days a week at a Client's site. The client's site will always be the same and onsite training will be provided.
HOURS: - Onsite Hours: 8 hours per each onsite day at times set by the client. Typically between the hours of 8 AM and 8 PM. This is non-negotiable and mandatory for the position.
- Remote Hours : Flexible commitments available for both part time (4 hours a day) and full time (8 hours a day) as we are open 24x7.
DESCRIPTION: The ideal candidate for this hybrid role should have:
- Reliable transportation (as of this job positing, you will only be travelling to one client location)
- Strong communication skills. You'll be interacting with users both over the phone and in person.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware including routers, laptops, desktops, etc.
- Have a professional appearance. While onsite, you'll be representing both our company and the client. As such we do not have a set uniform but require you to present a good image that includes proper work attire.
Agents must also have familiarity with server environments, standard network arrangements, and security concepts.
This is an external, Customer-facing position. Agents must be conscientious about providing thorough support and be understanding, responsive, and cooperative for client support requests. They must also have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, non-technical manner.
Agents must pay close attention to detail and follow internal processes for providing support and documenting all steps taken. They also need to be team players, collaborate with their colleagues, and have the desire to be a resource and share their knowledge with others.
PREFERRED SKILLS: - The ability to learn new applications quickly, and to certify in numerous software applications
- Bilingual in SPANISH or FRENCH is a plus
- Familiar with any of the following: Visual basic, VB, .NET, C . C , Java, JavaScript, or any other object orientated programming language.
