JOB TITLE: IT Support

REPORTS TO: Director of Engineering
IT SUPPORT SUMMARY: Technology is a critical part of Pierson Wireless' success, and the IT Support position supports this by ensuring that Pierson Wireless computing resources are available and able to be optimally used by Pierson Wireless employees to deliver products and services. The IT Support provides IT support services to the Pierson Wireless team to resolve IT-related user issues, including hardware and software support and user administration, and to deploy and maintain company computing resources.
IT SUPPORT DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Work to proactively understand end-user computing and technology needs.
- Respond to telephone, email, and online requests for technical support in a timely and friendly manner.
- Document, track, and monitor reported issues using applicable systems and tools.
- Report progress status to stakeholders on a routine basis.
- Assist end-users to set up accounts, systems, workstations, and security credentials.
- Assist in the setup, management, and monitoring of company infrastructure such as networks, servers, digital storage solutions, and phone systems.
- Manage and maintain endpoint software and firmware updates, and data backups .
- Assist management to develop, maintain and improve policies and procedures for software delivery, system configuration, device standards, and data security.
- ?Analyze incoming requests and prioritize response actions based on relative impact compared to the overall pool of service requests.
- Follows safety policies for safe work.
- Provides support to other team members and staff as needed.
- Operates company-provided equipment and vehicles in a safe manner and follow all local laws, regulations, and ordinances.
- Submits receipts and expense records.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

IT SUPPORT QUALIFICATIONS: - Good organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the timelines and budgets.
- Strong problem solver skills. The successful candidate must have the ability to independently seek out resources to solve technical puzzles or to research and present possible solutions for technical challenges.
- Ability to work multi-task, organize and document many tasks at one time.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows and MAC OS desktop operating systems and productivity applications.
- Experience performing user administration in identify applications, cloud computing, productivity, and collaboration tools.
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving end-user experiences.
- Self-Starter with the ability to actively look for effective tasks to complete in times of low service requests.
- Associate degree in computer science or a related field, or two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Other skills required:
