Our client is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join on a permanent full-time basis; working hours are 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software
  • Utilize strong customer service skills and troubleshoot various IT issues effectively
  • Ensure smooth and efficient operation of the technology infrastructure
  • Proactively monitor, escalate, and pursue outstanding Helpdesk calls to ensure prompt responses
  • Keep customers informed about the progress of their Helpdesk calls
  • Specify, create customer sales orders, and order new equipment for installation and configuration
Candidate Requirements:
  • 1-2 years' experience in a Helpdesk environment
  • Experience in a 1st line support role
  • Proficiency with Windows 10/11 and server OS
  • Experience with Mobile devices (Android & IOS)
  • Basic Microsoft Office 365 administration skills
  • Basic network troubleshooting
  • Good communication skills and an excellent telephone manner
  • Driven, motivated, and punctual
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Problem-solving ability and ability to work under pressure
  • Positive attitude with high attention to detail
  • Logical and methodical approach
  • Full UK driving license
