Kamco Supply of New England is a distributor of drywall, ceiling tiles, steel framing, fiberglass insulation and other building materials used by commercial and residential contractors.
Under routine supervision, the
IT Support Analyst will provide level 1 support by responding to end user requests and by diagnosing issues to minimize downtime impact to Kamco's business.
Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred 0 - 3 years of experience in IT Support
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical/technical ability and problem solving/troubleshooting skills
- Flexibility to operate, and self-driven to excel
- Must be highly organized with excellent time management skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices
- Experience with software support including creating cases via phone or web portals
Ability to:
- Create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, and supervisors)
- Work independently and as a member of a team in a multi-task environment with minimal supervision
- Work well under pressure, successfully meet schedules, work independently while interacting with personnel from differing management levels, and produce high-quality work with minimal supervision
Intermediate Knowledge and experience of:
- PC troubleshooting technical skills
- Troubleshooting smartphones and tablets (Android and iOS)
- Troubleshooting Office applications, web browsers, and Adobe Applications
- Troubleshooting printers
- Troubleshooting network issues (TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP)
- Understanding network concepts
Responsibilities - Troubleshoot and provide support on PCs (laptops & desktops) and wireless devices including but not limited to Android tablets, smartphones, and handheld scanners to all levels of end users
- Responsible for configuration, installation of PCs and end user data recovery
- Install, maintain, and repair PC hardware (including printers) and software
Additional: - Provide level 1 IT support to end users with PC hardware, software, printing, mobile devices, server, data recovery, email, and software installation issues
- Provide hands-on IT technical support
- Adhere to IT procedural guidelines and polices
- Decommission and disposal of IT equipment and responsible for the accuracy of the asset management information
- Provide support during employee relocations and other projects as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
