About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced IT Sr. Developer & Product Manager to lead the modernization and ongoing development of our Order Management System (OMS) for a retail fulfillment 3PL. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in UniVerse MultiValue DB and Pick Basic, as well as experience in modernizing legacy systems using the .NET stack. This role will involve hands-on development, strategic planning, and leadership of a development team.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and Manage OMS Development: Oversee the evolution of our homegrown TSI OMS system, ensuring seamless integration with multiple Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and customer portals.
• Modernization Strategy: Develop and execute a roadmap for modernizing the existing OMS using the .NET stack while maintaining essential functionalities within UniVerse MultiValue DB and Pick Basic.
• Integration & Scalability: Ensure OMS efficiently supports multiple 3PL customers across different WMS systems, accommodating growth, system replacements, and new customer requirements.
• Data Processing & Compliance: Enhance data transformation capabilities within OMS to support customers with limited IT resources, enabling data cleansing, enrichment, and cross-reference table enhancements.
• Technical Leadership & Hands-on Development:
o Lead a team of developers while also contributing directly to coding, debugging, and optimizing OMS functionalities.
o Provide mentorship and training for junior developers.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with operations, customers, and IT leadership to align OMS capabilities with business needs.
• System Maintenance & Upgrades: Proactively address system performance, security, and compliance challenges as our fulfillment operations expand.
Required Qualifications
• 10 years of experience in software development and product management, with a focus on Order Management Systems and 3PL environments.
• Expertise in UniVerse MultiValue DB and Pick Basic, with proven experience in maintaining and extending legacy systems.
• Strong .NET experience, including C , ASP.NET, and SQL Server, for modernization initiatives.
• Experience in system integration with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and customer portals.
• Proven ability to lead development teams, mentor developers, and collaborate across departments.
• Experience in data transformation, cleansing, and mapping to support customer compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications
