IT Specialist with Security Clearance

Position Description:
CGI is seeking a candidate to fill a Communication Information Technology Specialist position. The candidate will recognize information as a resource critical to the command's mission success. The candidate will possess skills directly related to supporting the information technology day-to-day requirements of the command and providing comprehensive networking, maintenance, audio/visual, telecommunication, and technical support. This position is located in Yuma, Arizona. Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Provide end-to-end support of classified and unclassified information systems and peripherals.

• Exhibit specialized knowledge of applications programming and analysis techniques combined with the knowledge of pertinent system software and equipment characteristics to gather data relevant to the projects.

• Conduct analysis and design of system applications.

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to IT systems and their peripherals.

• Coordinated major repairs to IT systems and peripherals.

• Support telecommunications, video conferencing, and other media to facilitate remote meetings and briefings.

• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures for communications, IT systems, and Information Assurance.

• Maintain local networks and assist in establishing and maintaining standalone Local Area Networks and IT assets.

• Display knowledge of system software and equipment technology to recognize developments potentially applicable to the proposed application.

• Assist in accounting for all communications equipment.

• Plan and coordinate IT asset administration, maintenance, and security.

• Administration of IT security updates, hardware, and software. Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 6+ years' Information Technology experience with DoD and DoD cyber security policies and procedures.
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

• CompTIA IT Fundamentals+ (ITF+)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving

• Excellent documentation skills; Skilled at working in tandem with a team or unsupervised as required.
