Description: NSI requires an IT Specialist to support the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Defense Exports and Cooperation Program Office. The Information Technology (IT) Specialist is required to work within the Deputy Assistant of the Army for Defense Exports and Cooperation (DASA DE&C) in support of various Army enterprise systems, providing knowledge and oversight of DoD security requirements and framework. Responsibilities:

• Implement the eMASS Hardware / Software (HW/SW) Baseline, Assets, and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) Management modules.

• Implement, manage, and administer all Information System (IS) workflow approvals and Risk Management Framework (RMF) authorization relevant artifacts using eMASS.

• Prepare the IS Security Plan (SP) and submit to the Action Officer (AO) for review and approval using eMASS.

• Execute IS self-assessments to determine compliance with selected security controls.

• Ensure IT assets are scanned IAW Army defined guidelines to identify assets; application, network, and operating system vulnerabilities; configuration errors; and points of unauthorized access.

• Coordinate with ISO/PM security control assessments performed by the Security Control Assessor-Validator (SCA-V).

• Update and maintain the IS SP and POA&M in eMASS based on the results of the continuous monitoring process.
• Conduct timely remediation actions based on results of ongoing monitoring activities, assessment of risk, outstanding items in the POA&M, or in response to Army vulnerability management efforts, e.g., Cyber Tasking Orders (CTOs), Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM), etc.

• Participate in OCSE led IS program / POA&M IPRs on a quarterly basis, or as required.

• Submit annual IS POA&M reviews using eMASS, and when changes occur, for AODR/P-ISSM review and approval.

• Develop IS cloud migration plan in coordination with the Army Enterprise Cloud Management Agency (ECMA) per HQDA EXORD 009-20.

• Support and assist with migration of IS to Army based cloud.
• Provide timely support in response to NETCOM vulnerability management/incident response efforts, as required. Location: Crystal City, VA Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology is preferred Experience: At least five (5) years of professional experience is required. Certified in accordance with the DOD baseline requirements of DODD 8570.1: Security+. Have experience with APMS, eMASS, RMF, the system development life cycle and be able to support IT systems from a technical level. Must be able to work effectively with others. Must be comfortable engaging with senior leadership. Security Clearance: Secret Clearance is Required. Must be U.S. citizen.
