RESPONSIBILITIES Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain network infrastructure.
- Ensure network security and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues.
- Assist with identifying, implementing and maintaining IT solutions.
Software Updates and Virus Protection:
- Oversee the deployment of software updates and patches.
- Manage antivirus solutions to protect company data.
- Regularly update software to ensure systems are current and secure.
Technical Support:
- Provide technical support to staff for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage help desk operations and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Train staff in new technologies and best practices.
Warehouse Management System Rollout:
- Lead the implementation and rollout of the warehouse management system.
- Coordinate with different departments to ensure seamless integration.
Customer Portal Management:
- Manage user and password setups for multiple customer portals.
- Ensure secure and efficient access for customers.
Analytics Support:
- Assist with data analysis using Excel and MS Access.
- Provide insights and support for business decision-making.
ERP Upgrade:
- Be heavily involved in the details and execution of the ERP upgrade.
- Coordinate with different stakeholders to ensure smooth transition.
Management of IT Consultants:
- Oversee and manage relationships with outside IT consultants.
- Ensure consultants deliver on project requirements and timelines.
IT Project Management:
- Plan, execute, and oversee various IT projects.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
General IT Duties:
- Provide general IT support and maintenance.
- Document IT processes and procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest technological trends and advancements.
- Handle other tasks as required to support the IT company objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree.
- Proficiency in managing software updates and antivirus solutions.
- Strong technical support skills and experience with helpdesk operations.
- Experience with enterprise-level software.
- Proficient in Excel, MS Access, and Microsoft SQL for data analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with modern IT practices and tools.
