Major Duties (Job Description) - You will be responsible for enabling systems engineering rigor across the Indo-Pacific Department.
- You will pursue systems engineering excellence and collaborate on integration, interoperability, and interface of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems.
- You will assist with technical oversight and guidance for all Indo-Pacific Department projects and tasks within the department.
- You will coordinate training and related events to improve systems engineering excellence by Department personnel on Department projects
- You will usher advancements in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and develop an ecosystem of mission engineering model development to capture warfighter operations.
Qualification Summary Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: extensive experience leading systems engineering and design, development, acquisition, experimentation, test and evaluation, installation, and operations support for project execution. Leading risk and vulnerability assessments, identifying customer requirements, facilitating the delivery of defense systems, applying engineering concepts to complex systems of systems architectures, providing technical and project management oversight; providing supervision and/or leadership to engineers, technicians, and administrative specialists. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. Compensation: $127,397-$191,900 per year
