IT - Software Engineer Sr

Indotronix is seeking a Java Developer in Pittsburgh(PA) or Birmingham(AL) locations

Position Title: Java Developer

Position Location: Pittsburgh(PA) or Birmingham(AL)

Open to Remote

Provide locations/flexible work by preference: Pittsburgh or Birmingham

Ability to work remotely (If so, there will be additional approvals needed) : yes

Duration: Contract to hire

Acceptable time zone(s): EST or CST

Days of the week: M-F, possible night or weekend deployments but unlikely for contractors

Working Hours (Flexible): 8-5EST or 7-4CST but can be flexible

OT: no / Travel: no

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt it to new hardware or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance.

• Design and develop software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.

• Consult with engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, develop specifications and performance requirements and resolve customer problems.

• Advise customer about, or perform, maintenance of software system.

• Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures.

Must Have Technical Skills:
-Java BE Programming
-Kubernetes
-CI/CD Pipeline
-Devops

Flex Skills/Nice to Have:
Previous Client or bank software experience a plus

Soft Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication

Education/Certifications:

Bachelors minimum (experience is more important)

Role Differentiator:

We orchestrate calls to all of the different systems in the bank, something different than standard programming.

1 Round IV with HM and team (less panel style and more conversation) 30-60mins
