Position Overview:
The Capital Delivery Services Department ( CDS ) is looking for an experienced, motivated person to join the Technology Services ( TSD ) division. This position will work within the Systems Development section in TSD to support TSD's mission of providing agile and responsive enterprise technology solutions and services that enhance and align with CDS business processes. This position will design, develop, and maintain technology solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform and other current technology platforms utilized by TSD . Microsoft SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI will be the primary development environments and tools for this position. This position will fulfill Systems Development objectives by participating in project design and scope sessions, creating workflows, and developing applications. Other duties may include providing updates and demonstrations to TSD leadership and project stakeholders, testing and troubleshooting applications, collaborating with the City's Communications and Technology Management department for enterprise solutions, and writing technical documentation for applications and workflows. Candidates should be experienced developing workflows and applications with the Microsoft Power platform suite of products, working with one or more scripting languages (PowerShell, JavaScript, etc.), and should be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Additionally, candidates should have strong organizational skills, be self-motivated, be able to approach a challenge with an open mind, identify possible solutions, provide a professional recommendation, and execute tasks.

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Experience: - Experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Power platform applications.
- Experience building and deploying Power Platform Solutions across multiple Power Platform environments.
- Experience consuming structured JSON data from external services into Power Apps applications.
- Proficient in connecting Power BI to a diverse range of data sources and producing actionable metrics using advanced DAX skills.
- Experience with advanced customization of SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, and columns.
- Experience moving past obstacles and challenges in development of technology solutions, highly motivated to find and implement solution.
- Ability to ravel to more than one work location.
