IT Service Desk Specialist $52K-$60K

Where we need you


  • The "Specialist Service Desk" is the first point of contact for our internal customers. S/he is working on a highly operative level and has no leadership responsibility. The primary objective is to provide first time resolution. This will be achieved by troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving incidents at the first point of contact and/or escalating the incident to one of our 2nd level teams to investigate and resolve. Throughout this process he/she remains the single point of contact with the customer, maintaining ownership of the incident and acting as the main point of contact between the customer and other support organizations, providing timely updates and ensuring the incident is given the correct level of priority and attention. The Specialist Service Desk IT Europe has a demanding support position which calls for excellent customer service skills, the ability to articulate solutions clearly and confidently to end users and a high degree of technical knowledge across a broad range of technologies and products including:
  • Windows 10
  • Office 365
  • iOS
  • Service Management technology
  • MobileIron
  • Cisco call manager (EUN only)
  • participation in IT projects together with colleagues across the IT areas to reach our goals within the digitalization initiative of Röchling
  • We are looking for a team player with well- developed interpersonal skills, with proven ability to support a positive team environment.

How to convince us


  • Bachelor Degree preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Windows Client Administration
  • On premise Active Directory Management
  • Office 365 suite desktop support
  • MDM Administration Skills + Mobile Devices Support
  • Experience in Service Management systems according to ITIL
