IT Security Manager

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a IT Security Manager for JBS IT that will report onsite to the corporate office in Greeley, Colorado.

We are seeking a results-driven and collaborative IT Security Manager to lead enterprise security operations and drive strategic initiatives that protect critical systems, identities, and data across JBS USA. This role is responsible for overseeing identity and access management, infrastructure and application security, and implementation of risk and vulnerability mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with deep technical expertise and a passion for mentoring high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of security engineers, cloud security analysts, and security administrators.
  • Oversee enterprise-wide Identity and Access Management (IAM) operations, ensuring alignment with policy, compliance, and security best practices.
  • Own and support Windows Active Directory, Windows OS, Linux OS, and associated infrastructure and application security.
  • Lead implementation and ongoing maturity of the organization's Risk Management Program, proactively identifying threats and working cross-functionally to mitigate them.
  • Own the Vulnerability Management Program, ensuring continuous monitoring, prioritization, and remediation of vulnerabilities across the enterprise.
  • Oversee Asset Management, patch management, mobile device management (MDM), and application control platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver secure solutions aligned with enterprise goals.
  • Partner with software development teams to architect and support secure application design and implementation.
  • Manage and administer security governance tools, including SoD enforcement, access certifications, and audit trails.
  • Respond to audits and work directly with Internal and External Audit teams to ensure continuous compliance and readiness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex access and permission issues across diverse systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement in security operations, incident response, and security education.
  • Support the development and deployment of company-wide security frameworks and policy standards.
  • Contribute to projects involving cloud security, privileged access management (PAM), and endpoint protection platforms (EDR/XDR).
  • Maintain accurate documentation using ticketing and tracking systems for access requests and system changes.
  • Stay current with evolving security trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in IT Security, with proven leadership in a security operations or IAM-focused role.
  • Strong knowledge of security standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
  • Hands-on experience managing vulnerability, patch, and asset management programs.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Windows/Linux administration, DNS, and enterprise security platforms.
  • Familiarity with SAP or enterprise business systems is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and cloud environments.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, coach talent, and drive a collaborative security culture.
  • Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to excellent customer service and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team across departments.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally based on business needs.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
  • Base salary range of $100,000-$120,000;
  • Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company's annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and
