IT Security Engineer

This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with three days working in the office and two days working remotely.

In this position, you will:

• Perform root cause and security analyses across various platforms, systems, and devices.

• Protect data by defining access, identifying vulnerabilities, and applying cybersecurity best practices to mitigate risk.

• Monitor and respond to security incidents in real-time.

• Provide operational support for new and existing security products.

• Manage our vendor risk management processes.

• Collaborate with developers to embed security into the software lifecycle.

We are seeking candidates who have:

• Associates or bachelors degree preferred but not required.

• 5-10 years of IT Security experience.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a CISSP Certification.

• Security+ certification preferred but not required.

• Strong attention to detail and are self-motivated.

• Solid written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent knowledge and experience in risk assessment, threat detection, vulnerability and governance.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
