Culver Franchising System, LLC is looking for an Information Technology Quality Assurance Engineer - Specialist to create, manage, and maintain our automated testing platforms and conduct tests to ensure that our guests have a great digital experience. The successful candidate will work closely with the development team to find the root cause of bugs and participate in manual testing of Culver's software and new releases of the software that keeps Culver's restaurants running smoothly and efficiently.
Essential Functions:
Automated Software Testing:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts to help ensure comprehensive and scalable test coverage.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipelines.
- Create and execute functional and performance tests for applications to meet quality standards.
- Follow best practices for test automation, continually improving processes and efficiency.
Manual and Regression Testing:
- Conduct manual testing of digital products to identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking systems.
- Develop detailed test scripts and perform regression testing on both in-house and third-party software solutions.
- Perform accessibility testing to ensure compliance with standards such as WCAG, ADA, and Section 508, using both automated tools and manual techniques.
Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers, to ensure software quality and successful release readiness.
- Advance professional and technical capabilities through participation in training courses, industry reading, conferences, and involvement in relevant professional organizations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in software quality assurance or test automation development.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing automated tests using frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, or similar tools.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, C , or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience testing APIs and backend services using tools such as Postman or REST-assure.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter or LoadRunner) is a plus.
- Experience with database query tools and SQL is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.

Starting Pay Range: $75,000-$85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Classification: Exempt/Salary, full-time position.
