Akkodis is seeking a Project/Program Manager for a contract position with our Fortune 500 banking client.
Rate: $60-65/hr W2. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job Description:
Global Financial Crimes Technology is searching for an experienced IT Program Manager who can plan, coordinate, and execute technology program/project deliverables which require engagement across multiple organizations. They will have responsibilities to:
- Lead large scale programs/projects with multi-discipline project team members.
- Use the right questions and tools to uncover root causes to business challenges, identify opportunities, and make recommendations.
- Understand and communicate the importance of technology program governance and controls both vertically and horizontally.
- Ensure accurate and transparent program/project status reporting in the form of written reports, system of record updates, live meetings with several levels of personnel.
- Act as a liaison between audit, risk, technology, and line of business teams, including senior and executive leaders.
- Manage to timelines and communicate project status, health, and risks/compliance within matrix management environment.
- Ensure delivery meets the expectations in terms of the target outcomes, timeline, and cost and facilitating sync points between business and technology leaders and Risk and Compliance partners.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in technology Program and/or Project Management in financial services industry.
- Experience serving as intermediary between business and technology; ability to establish agreements and identify/manage risks and dependencies.
- Experience working in or with Audit or PMO Governance, Risk, and Control roles.
- Experience working with Excel data analysis and reporting. Comfortable working with large sets of data, including extraction, analysis, and trend reporting.
- Experience in strategic and advisory roles or spaces.
- Comfortable working in white space and driving results without direction; proactive and self-starter nature.
- Intermediate Excel skills (i.e. VLOOKUPs, Pivots).
- Practical knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall Methodologies
- Practical Knowledge of Bank of America business processes and application systems.
- Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: Proven ability to communicate complex topics and translate between business and IT stakeholders through verbal, written, and visual mediums.
- Prior experience in Business Analysis roles.
- Prior experience in management consulting.
- PMMT, PCM experience, PPRT experience.
