R- Description Leidos is hiring a Journeyman IT Project Manager to support the ESA V program. The ESA V program is an IT Services program supporting several federal customers. The program provides a range of IT services, including help desk, asset management, desk side support, Azure Cloud Engineering, Windows workstation engineering and maintenance, managed print services, ITSM, EntraID services, and video conferencing, among others. Leidos has an opportunity for an individual to serve as part of the program management team supporting our customer located Downtown Washington, DC office. Location: Remote with occasional onsite in Washington, DC (parking costs not covered). Up to 75% telework may be authorized based on customer needs. Level: This is a journeyman level position, the salary range is $100K to $108K. The IT Project Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of IT services by evaluating, prioritizing, and coordinating operational tasks and initiatives. This role acts as a liaison between IT operations, service management, and business stakeholders to align operational priorities with organizational goals, improve service delivery, and optimize resource allocation. Key Responsibilities: Prioritization & Planning
Evaluate incoming IT operational requests, incidents, and projects to determine urgency, impact, and resource requirements.
Develop and maintain prioritization frameworks to ensure consistent and transparent decision-making.
Collaborate with IT leadership to align operational priorities with strategic objectives.
Operational Coordination
Monitor and track the progress of prioritized tasks and initiatives.
Facilitate coordination between cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of high-priority items.
Identify and escalate potential risks or delays in operational workflows.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Analyze operational performance metrics to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
Generate reports and dashboards to communicate prioritization decisions and operational status to stakeholders.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve service levels and operational efficiency.
Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as a point of contact for business units and IT teams regarding operational priorities.
Conduct regular reviews with stakeholders to reassess priorities and adjust plans as needed.
Ensure transparency and alignment through clear communication and documentation. Qualifications: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
3+ years of experience in IT operations, service management, or business analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy) and reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
US Citizenship
Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust. Preferred Skills: Experience with Agile or Lean methodologies.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and time management skills.
