Job Summary:
The Information Security Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing projects related to information security within the organization. This role involves planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, while ensuring that security measures are integrated throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, and timing.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, security specialists, and business stakeholders, to achieve project objectivess
• Risk Management: Identify potential security risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
• Compliance: Ensure that all projects comply with relevant security standards and regulations.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Track project progress, manage changes, and report on project status to senior management and stakeholders.
• Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
• Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Security, Project Management, or a related field or equivalent year of experience.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in information security and project management.

Certifications:

• PMP, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of information security principles, excellent project management skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and strong communication and leadership abilities.

Desired Experience:

• Experience managing enterprise-scale projects.
• StateRAMP Assessment or Continuous Monitoring.
• Experience briefing and presenting to senior leadership.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in information security.
