Role Purpose

The IT Project Manager IV plays a critical leadership role in Client Global IT function, supporting IT alignment with business strategies, optimizing IT investments, and delivering business process improvements through enterprise-wide project execution. This role is responsible for leading cross-functional teams, overseeing large-scale IT initiatives, and ensuring adherence to governance, compliance, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and manage project/program communication plans including milestone updates, stakeholder engagement, governance documentation, and status reporting.
  • Act as the primary liaison between project teams and Global Sourcing/Vendor Management, ensuring vendor alignment and performance.
  • Proactively manage project risks and issues using tools like RAID Logs, Planview, and Risk Registers.
  • Conduct post-project retrospectives and "lessons learned" meetings to capture feedback and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Cultivate a positive and collaborative work culture focused on continuous learning and delivery excellence.
  • Lead Agile teams through the full software development lifecycle, supporting Scrum practices where applicable.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project artifacts including plans, schedules, budgets, and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure alignment with governance frameworks (e.g., SOX, NIST, DoD) based on project risk profiles.
  • Serve as a servant leader, removing blockers and empowering teams to deliver business value.
  • Regularly engage with business stakeholders and sponsors to clarify project goals, ensure alignment, and reinforce value delivery.
Education & Certifications â€" Required
  • Bachelor†s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • PMP Certification (Project Management Institute) required.
Education & Certifications â€" Preferred
  • Master†s Degree in a technical or business-related field.
  • Scrum or Agile Certification (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP).
  • Technical certifications in SAP, Salesforce, MES, or cybersecurity platforms.
Experience Requirements
  • 7+ years of IT project management experience, with demonstrated delivery of enterprise-level projects.
  • Proven leadership in at least one technical domain:
  • SAP ECC â€" Implementations, upgrades, testing, cutovers.
  • â€" Implementations, enhancements, and integrations.
  • Manufacturing Engineering Systems (e.g., Camstar) â€" Full project lifecycle.
  • Microsoft 365 â€" Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Copilot integration.
  • Application Rationalization â€" Legacy decommissioning and integration strategy.
  • UKG Pro â€" HR and finance system deployments.
Desired Skills & Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Planview (Portfolio, Project Place, Agile Place).
  • Experience with Agile toolsets like Jira, Confluence, GitLab, or MS DevOps.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to lead virtual teams across multiple regions and time zones.
  • Strong conflict resolution and negotiation abilities.
  • Critical thinking with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to manage projects with ambiguity and evolving requirements.
