PERM Location: Santa Clara, CA and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Job Title: IT Project Manager (HCLA56) Multiple positions available Job Description: Establish Application Modernization procedures and strategies for clients to modernize the legacy system to newer technologies. Improve the application security by reviewing and redefining the security subsystem and introducing the approach towards group security rather than individual user. Adopt the automation tools like REXX and Microsoft excel to create the SQLs for mass updates to optimize the cost as well as the operational efficiency. Collaboratively create architectural patterns for migration that are repeatable and scalable. Setup measurements of success for the Application migration and link the commercial model to migration output. Create the initial high-level assessment/design outputs of the applications by using the required inventory information provided by clients, which includes PAC2000 Ticket data, Service-Now, Application inventory data and Application dependency inventory data with other interfaces. Re-architect and modernize the application protocols to the RESTful services. Use design best practices and design patterns to build highly scalable solutions using technologies Java, REACT JS and Cloud. Develop REST services and UI components for Front End Web Application using Spring Boot and JAVA. Lead Scrum ceremonies, own code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members. Manage development team activities and efforts in-coordination by performing the code reviews using the peer code review checklist. Obtain and analyze detail application logs to isolate the root cause. Work closely with Enterprise Architecture to develop optimal Architecture to build and implement a stable and secure system. Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and technical support teams to define project requirements and specifications. Collaborate with configuration and development teams to identify and resolve root causes to provide the quality service to the user by resolving the problem tickets raised by users in the PAC2000 tool. Take care of the production issues of EDI during the business hours to have a smooth and uninterrupted business between client CDF and various Trading partners Job Requirements: Requires Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), Information Technology, Computer Technology, Engineering Design Technology, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related field plus one (1) year of experience in the job offered, or related IT or engineering role. Travel and work at client sites as assigned. Base Salary: $121,701 - $122,000/Year (whatever range we reasonably expect to hire a candidate within based upon our internal salary grid).
