Job Title: IT Project Manager
Location: San Diego CA 92128 (Hybrid / Must be onsite: San Diego, CA one to days per week)
Duration: 1+ year

Job Description:

• Monitor, approve, and, if needed, challenge timecards submitted by contractors and employees daily.

• Review and approve invoices from contractor suppliers.

• Generate reports that capture the current state of projects on a weekly/monthly basis. Target audience of reports range from Clients program leaders, account leaders and client.

• Generate billing files used to invoice client.

• Respond to client requests concerning embedded resources. This includes, but is not limited to,
o Adding embedded contractors.
o Managing current embedded contractors.
o Terminating embedded contractors when needed.

• Consult with embedded resources, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements.

• Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.

• Work with vendors and client to recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff, or participate in staffing decisions.

• Develop and maintain Operations Management procedures.

• Develop and maintain budgets related to embedded resources.

• Work with Clients other entities to develop and maintain vendor purchase orders

• The ability to work independently, attempt to resolve issues and escalate as needed.

• Organizational skills

• Develop and maintain good relationships with contractor vendors

Basic Qualifications

• BS 8-10, staffing management field.

• 3-5 years experience required in Project Management (IT field)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent customer relationship skills

• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage one's time.

Knowledge of the following systems:
Microsoft SharePoint with the ability to perform administrative tasks
Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
ServiceNow
