Job Description:The Project Manager is responsible for successful project delivery within the Global Infrastructure portfolio of projects. This role drives successful project execution following PMO and Financial Management policies and processes. Project Manager is accountable for the coordination of all project-related activities, completeness and accuracy of project plans, status reporting, SDLC Deliverables, forecasting, and cost tracking. The Project Manager collaborates with IT Solution Partners, IT Engineers, Business SMEs, IT RM&C (Compliance), IT PMO, and Finance teams stakeholders to proactively identify and effectively mitigate risks, and timely address issues.
Job Responsibilities include: - Manage IT projects focusing on project initiation/execution, detailed planning, project plan quality and integrity, project resource management, effective communication, project financial updates timing and accuracy, and SDLC deliverables.
- Tracking the execution of project milestones/tasks and budget against forecasts to ensure on-time, on-budget, and within-scope project delivery.
- Facilitates execution of project tasks to avoid delays via effective risk management and mitigation.
- Assist Leads with coordination and execution of the quarterly and monthly project forecast updates that include cross-functional coordination, data collection, cost estimation, prioritization, and variance analysis.
- Ensure timing and quality for PMO deliverables (ex: Status Reports, Change Requests, Funds Reallocations).
Desired Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or a related field.
- 7+ years of IT Project Management within structured PMO operations.
- PMP Certification preferred.
- Detailed understanding of effective scheduling and execution of IT projects.
- SDLC Methodologies: Waterfall, Agile.
- Regulatory Compliance/GxP knowledge is a plus.
- Strong grasp of foundational finance principles and project accounting within IT organization.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate with colleagues at all levels within the organization.
- Must be willing and able to work independently and handle simultaneous tasks.
- Attention to detail with the ability to view the larger picture.
- Consistently model behaviors of accountability and ownership through excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and group facilitation skills.
- High level of competency using Microsoft Office suite - Outlook, Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, PowerBI with some experience using Microsoft Project Server and/or other portfolio management tools.
