to their team in the Orlando, FL Metro Region. Job Summary: As an IT Project Manager specializing in Data Analytics, you'll take on a proactive, hands-on role, working closely on data-driven projects to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive impactful decisions.
Essential Functions: - Collaborating with the CIO to develop and implement IT strategy, aligning initiatives with overall business objectives, and monitoring progress against KPIs.
- Overseeing day-to-day operations of the IT department, including managing project timelines, resource allocation, and budget oversight.
- Acting as a liaison between the CIO and other departments, executives, and external vendors, ensuring clear communication and stakeholder alignment.
- Coordinating and managing CIO-level meetings, preparing agendas and following up on action items.
- Analyzing data and providing insights to inform strategic decisions, identifying potential risks and opportunities within the IT landscape.
- Leading cross-functional projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards while managing dependencies and mitigating risks.
- Tracking key metrics and reporting on IT performance to senior leadership, identifying areas for improvement.
Supporting the CIO in identifying and developing high-potential IT talent within the organization.
Competencies & Qualifications: - Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
- Background in financial analysis or internal audit a plus.
- Proven project management experience, leading strategic initiatives with a focus on execution and results
- Strong project-reporting skills, with focus on interdepartmental communications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Deep understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and industry trends
- Business acumen and ability to translate technical concepts into business value
- Business minded, focused on developing creative solutions
- Ability to lead & manage teams and influence cross-functional collaboration
- Experience with tools like PowerBI & Tableau as well as SQL
Education & Experience: - Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
