BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated IT Project Manager

for an opportunity at Eagan, MN-Location.

Position Title: IT Project Manager

Location: Eagan, MN

Expected Duration: 7+ months

Job Type: Full Time (>%3D40 HRS WEEKLY) - CONTRACT - Remote

Pay Range: $58/hr to $68/hr

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Key responsibilities:

Lead and manage the full lifecycle of a large-scale data migration project from on-premise infrastructure to Google Cloud Data Lake.
Execute pre-canned reporting processes for divisional metrics and business insights.
Manage project budget up to $5 million, including vendor and contractor oversight.
Provide direction to cross-functional project teams, including IT, business units, and external vendors.
Ensure alignment with PMI Process Groups and internal project management methodologies.
Collaborate with institutional committees and business stakeholders to understand priorities, secure approvals, and ensure objectives are met.
Drive strategic planning and implementation for multi-year, complex initiatives with strong interdependencies.
Communicate project status, risks, and issues clearly to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Foster a Project Focused Culture within the IT department by mentoring team members and leading process improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications:
PMP Certification (or comparable certification from a nationally-recognized project management organization).
One of the following education and experience combinations:
Master's Degree and 7+ years of project management experience, OR
Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of project management experience, OR
Associate's Degree and 12+ years of project management experience.
Proven track record managing projects of large size and/or high complexity, particularly in environments involving multiple technologies and business areas.
Strong experience with PMI methodologies and project execution frameworks.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage matrixed resources across departments.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with Google Cloud Platform, particularly with Advanced Data Lake implementations.
Background in healthcare, data engineering, or enterprise-scale infrastructure transformation projects.
Skills and Attributes:
Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Demonstrated success in managing multiple competing priorities.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-focused language.
