We are seeking an IT Project Manager to join our team.

This is a remote position.

Qualifications

Required Skills:
  • BA or higher in Computer Science required
  • PMP Certification a plus
  • OR any equivalent combination of education and experience project managing.
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
  • Thorough understanding of project life cycles
  • Ability to create project plans from scratch and utilize project tools like Issues Lists and Status Reports.
  • General Understanding of Information Technology and the different departments from within.
  • Demonstrates general computer skills including data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
  • Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work closely and professionally with others.

Responsibilities

Under general supervision, responsible for project managing large size IT Projects that require resources from Multiple IT and Operational departments. Manages complex projects utilizing Project Task Lists, Issues Lists and any project templates necessary to complete a project. Helps track and maintain the overall IT Project Portfolio ensuring all project managers are accurate updating their timelines and changes as necessary. Participates in the establishment and maintenance of policies, procedures and associated training plans for Project Management. The IT Project Manager will be part of the IT management team and will participate in the IT Leadership meetings. May have to participate and present project statuses at company manager or leadership meetings.
