ETAS was formed and dedicated to support the Department of Energy (DOE) Portsmouth/Paducah Project Office (PPPO) with technical and management services contributing to the safe and cost-effective implementation of the "One PPPO" mission.

The parent company, Pro2Serve, is a nationally recognized environmental, technical, and engineering services firm dedicated to providing critical environmental management services to reduce the Nation's environmental liabilities and infrastructure engineering services in support of our Nation's security. We support the energy, defense, and science markets through responsive, cost-effective execution of critical environmental, facilities and infrastructure, and nuclear defense and nonproliferation projects.

Job Description

Currently, there are a significant number of concurrent projects and a long list of projects to be added to the pipeline. As the PPPO moves towards adopting more cloud services, increasing shared services for all of PPPO, and strategically and tactically promoting the OnePPPO vision, an increased focus on IT project management, project and system integration, resource utilization, and system migrations is essential to achieve the desired outcomes. There are targeted skills for the IT Project management support needed to ensure projects continue to move forward with proper planning and execution while balancing the on-going operational needs.
  • Develops schedules and project timelines
  • Defines project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Defines tasks and required resources
  • Cost estimating and help developing the budget
  • Coordinates with vendors, manufactures, and professional services
  • Provides leadership and direction to employees
  • Acts as liaison between management and employees
  • Responsible for implementing and managing good project management practices
  • Support the IT Manager with development of strategic plans and creation of technology roadmaps
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and five years' experience or ten years of relevant experience
  • Experience in supporting IT Infrastructure and operations activities
  • Must have strong organizational and communication skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Exhibit a high degree of professionalism in the production of deliverables and in interactions with fellow employees and client personnel.
  • Experience leading a team of subject matter experts and defining the scope of the project in collaboration with customer's management team. Specific needs include;
    • Create detailed work plan that identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project or task,
    • Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project or task,
    • Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities, review the project schedule with customer and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities, revise the schedule as required,
    • Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project or task will be evaluated at its completion.
    PreferredQualifications
  • PMP Certified or trained

Federal Government Clearance:

This position may require the ability to obtain a government clearance. This position may require reviews and test for absence of any illegal drugs along with a background investigation by the Federal government in order to obtain an access authorization prior to employment, and may require subsequent reinvestigations may be required.
