- In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects within the client's technology and telecommunications sector, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with strategic goals.
- This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies within a technical environment.
- As an IT Project Manager at the client, you will work cross-functionally with engineering, product, operations and business teams to lead complex projects from initiation to closure, ensuring delivery that meets the client's high standards of quality and innovation.
Key Responsibilities: - Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with the client's strategic objectives.
- Develop detailed project plans and schedules, ensuring clear milestones and deliverables.
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure flawless execution of projects.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure project costs remain within approved limits.
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues, providing updates to stakeholders.
- Lead regular project meetings, including status reviews, risk assessments, and post-mortems.
- Drive effective communication across cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients.
- Apply Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies to manage projects, depending on project needs.
- Ensure compliance with the client's project management guidelines and governance.
Must-Haves: Experience: - Minimum 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably within the telecommunications, IT, or technology industries with lean on Industry 4.0
- Proven experience managing multiple, complex projects with high attention to detail and adherence to timelines.
Project Management Skills: - Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
- Ability to define project objectives, develop project plans, manage risks, and track deliverables effectively.
Communication and Leadership: - Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
- Experience working with technical teams and translating technical language into business terms.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and manage stress.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster team collaboration and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Technical Proficiency: - Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project, Asana) and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Teams).
- Basic understanding of telecommunications concepts, network infrastructure, and digital transformation initiatives.
Educational Background: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Problem Solving and Decision Making: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to make quick, data-driven decisions under pressure.
Certifications: - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or PRINCE2 certification.
Nice-to-Haves: Advanced Technical Knowledge: - Prior experience working on projects involving 5G, IoT, cloud solutions, or network infrastructure.
- Familiarity with the client's technologies and solutions is a plus.
Additional Certifications: - Agile/Scrum certifications, such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner).
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement methodologies.
- Experience in Large-Scale, Global Projects preferably in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
- Experience working on large-scale projects across multiple regions or global teams.
- Understanding of global compliance standards, especially within telecommunications.
Educational Background: - Master's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or Business Administration.
