POSITION OVERVIEW

This position will lead cross-functional project teams to efficiently implement IT Projects to meet specific business objectives. This position is accountable for project planning, design development, and execution, including creation of schedules, resource / cost estimates, and scopes of work

We are seeking an individual who can manage projects in a timely manner, anticipate and challenge situations, solve problems, proactively remove roadblocks, and communicate clearly in support of on time delivery of projects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage multiple projects using an approach that ensures the quality and competitive performance expected by stakeholders
  • Lead a project team consisting of internal IT resources, business resources, and 3rd Parties to ensure all aspects of the project are properly considered.
  • Develop comprehensive project execution plans with focus on scope, cost, schedule, risk management, and implementation,
  • Identify & effectively manage key dependencies throughout the project lifecycle
  • Using problem-solving, critical thinking skills, and independent thinking to overcome challenges
  • Holds regular status meetings with project team
  • Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
  • Communicate project status to various stakeholders within the organization
  • Recognize opportunities for value creation and innovation in the project management work processes
  • Key phases of the project may require after hours work for project support
EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Experience leading and coordinating teams in a project environment to meet project deliverables
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and multi-disciplinary projects
  • Experience facilitating meetings
  • Experience managing IT based projects
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies
  • Planning and scoping projects
  • Vendor management
  • Experience with Jira Boards
  • Scrum master certification
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Safely and successfully performs the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged period of time in office environment, desk setting
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
