We are seeking a Project Manager for a local government IT Department.
Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee IT projects from initiation to completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate project activities and ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Conduct data collection and analysis to support project decision-making.
- Utilize project management tools such as Trello, Project Server, Confluence, Smartsheet, etc.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Ensure adherence to project management best practices.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in IT project management or related role.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Familiarity with project coordination and engineering principles.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
