Kodiak is seeking an
IT Project Manager who will drive projects to completion, managing the development and delivery of solutions on time and within scope and budget. The project manager is accountable for developing and maintaining all project artifacts. The project manager ensures compliance with the Kodiak PMO methodology, including but not limited to documentation requirements, change control, proper approvals, and gate controls.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITY: IT Project Manager Required tasks to fulfill primary responsibility:
Project Management: - Develop project kickoff materials and facilitate kickoff meetings with project stakeholders
- Develop detailed project plans and high-level project milestones
- Provide clear communication of project plans, project and task status, issues and project risks and risk mitigation strategies to project stakeholders at regular intervals
- Review project plan, milestones, resourcing and status updates with IT Program Manager
- Prepare, schedule, lead, and close project meetings, work sessions and on-stie project milestone activities per IT PMO guidelines
- Encourage collaboration amongst IT team members, cross-functional/matrixed team members within Kodiak and staff from the operational company throughout the project
- Lead project to completion through defined sprints (agile projects), phases (waterfall projects), stage gates/exit criteria and project deliverables
- Identify risks early and develop risk mitigation strategy to remove potential project roadblocks and escalate project issues to IT Program Manager in a prompt manner
- Ensure all necessary testing of process, hardware and IT infrastructure are completed and results are documented as applicable
- Manage the project scope, schedule, and budget, evaluating the impact of key decisions on these triple constraints and escalating negative project impacts to IT Program Manager
- Ensure Change Control Requests for scope deviations and final project stages cross-functional and/or 3rd party vendors coordination are in place in advance
- Maintain Project Document Tracker with deliverable signoffs from stakeholders
- Coordinate project requirements with 3rd party vendors as required and coordinate with project team to validate requirements upon task completion
Preferred tasks to fulfill added responsibilities: - Two (2) or more years of hands-on experience in JIRA, Microsoft 365 applications, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint document library
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration or Project Management.
- Three (3) or more years related project management experience with a focus on IT infrastructure projects.
- Experience in the LBM industry is a plus.
Required Skills and Experience: - Project Management Expertise:
- Two (2) or more years of hands-on experience with JIRA, Microsoft 365 applications, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint document library
- Solid understanding of basic network infrastructure and related hardware (firewalls, VPN appliances, switches, patch panels, desktop PCs, laptops, handheld barcode scanners, multi-function printers, label printers)
- Experience coordinating services with 3rd party vendors for telecom, internet service providers, electric and cabling vendors, IT asset disposal vendors and hosted ERP SaaS vendors.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong executive function skills and the innate ability to lead project-related issue triage and facilitate work sessions to resolve complex technical issues related to assigned projects with minimal direction from the Program Manager
- Confidence and ability to provide professional communications at the executive leadership level.
- Excellent written and verbal communication to explain technical concepts and gather technical requirements when collaborating with non-technical stakeholders and 3rd party vendors.

- Ability to function in a fast-paced, open floor-plan office space shared with the Kodiak IT Service Desk Team
- Ability to travel for various assigned Microsoft SharePoint Projects at various Kodiak OpCo's across the United States (25% travel)
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or similar
- At least 2 years' experience as an IT project manager
- Experience with project management using JIRA and Atlassian plug-ins.
