The
IT Project Manager will be responsible for the execution of multiple projects simultaneously across a wide range of customer groups across the Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) network. Responsible for the planning, oversight, and documentation of all aspects of the project lifecycle. Will work closely with leadership to make sure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule, as well as other departments and the project team for support. Manages a balanced portfolio of mid-sized to large projects. Serves as a mentor to other Project Managers, Team Leaders and Resource Managers. Accountable to Portfolio Manager(s) for project statuses for relevant customer group(s).
This position is a hybrid opportunity and can require being onsite anywhere up to 25% at any Hackensack Meridian Health location as needed. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required :
- Bachelor's degree; or equivalent relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- A minimum of 5 years of IT and healthcare work experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of program/project management experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of equivalent leadership experience.
- Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise and leadership capabilities in project management and systems development methodology.
- Develop and deliver presentations, training sessions and demos.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid facilitation and organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Project Professional.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred :
- Experience with Epic Systems, including implementations.
Licenses and Certifications Preferred :
- Project Management Professional Certification.
